Oliver New - founder of new stuff records
With 20 years of experience in music, Oliver New has dedicated his life to the craft of songwriting, guitar playing, and vocal performance, primarily in the realms of alternative rock and funk. In 2019, Oliver began releasing music online, and in 2020, he founded New Stuff Records to support independent artists and venues through Spotify playlists and musical showcases at notable London venues.
Having mastered the art of digital marketing, Oliver has developed a unique formula that has propelled him. His significant achievements include hosting over 60 artists across 16 shows and conducting an open mic tour for a month to support Beam homeless charity. With 75 songs released across various platforms, Oliver's work spans genres from indie rock and alternative rock to lo-fi, dance, hip-hop, electronic, and jazz. His music evolves with his identity, reflecting his ever-changing personality.
Oliver's approach to artist development is rooted in the belief that artists should retain ownership and a fair percentage of their incredible creations. New Stuff Records educates artists and equips them with the necessary tools to grow independently, without the constraints of major label deals that often take the majority of streaming royalties and leave artists paying back advances.
